ip/wol [

macaddr DESCRIPTION
Wol sends a magic wake-on-lan Ethernet packet to
dialstr (default
udp!255.255.255.255!0 , the IPv4 broadcast address),
intended to wake up the machine with an Ethernet interface with the MAC
address
macaddr . Macaddr is not used to route the packet, but is inserted into the magic packet
as required by the wake-on-lan protocol.
An optional password of at most six bytes can be sent. The option -v prints verbose information about the packet sent.
