The SoundBlaster takes 16 I/O ports. 60For the SoundBlaster and SoundBlaster Pro, the IRQ and DRQ channels are 61jumper-selected. For the SoundBlaster 16, the IRQ and DRQ channels are 62set by this driver to the values specified in the config file. The IRQ 63must be selected from the set {5,7,9,10}. 64.Pp 65The configuration file must use a nonzero 66.Cm flags 67specification to enable the Jazz16 support. This is to avoid potential 68conflicts with other devices when probing the Jazz 16 because it requires 69use of extra I/O ports not in the base port range. 70.Pp 71.Sh BUGS 72The driver has not been extensively tested on original SoundBlaster, 73SoundBlaster 16, or newer cards. 74.Pp 75The FM synthesizer, joystick and MIDI port interfaces are not supported. 76.Sh SEE ALSO 77.Xr audio 4 78.Sh HISTORY 79The 80.Nm sb 81device driver appeared in 82.Nx 1.0 . 83
