*2106ea47SThomas CortThis is a program which I wrote as a clone of the UNIX 'units'
*2106ea47SThomas Cortcommand. I threw it together in a couple days, but it seems to work,
*2106ea47SThomas Cortwith some restrictions. I have tested it under DOS with Borland C and
*2106ea47SThomas CortUltrix 4.2, and SunOS 4.1.

*2106ea47SThomas CortThis program differs from the unix units program in the following
*2106ea47SThomas Cortways:
*2106ea47SThomas Cort it can gracefully handle exponents larger than 9 in output
*2106ea47SThomas Cort it uses 'e' to denote exponentiation in numbers
*2106ea47SThomas Cort prefixes are listed in the units file
*2106ea47SThomas Cort it tries both -s and -es plurals
*2106ea47SThomas Cort it allows use of * for multiply and ^ for exponentiation in the input
*2106ea47SThomas Cort the output format is somewhat different
