README
1mnihongo is a fairly clumsy troff post-processor that 2catches unicode characters that might be japanese, 3looks them up in a font file (currently 4/lib/font/bit/pelm/unicode.9x24.font) to get the 5bits, converts that to postscript, and dumps that 6in the output. 7 8Widths are taken from troff font Jp, which has at 9best a simple approximation to the truth. 10 11The program itself is normally called implicitly 12by loading the troff macro package -mnihongo, which 13does a .pi command. 14
