17       The  <a href="postdrop.1.html"><b>postdrop</b>(1)</a>  command  creates a file in the <b>maildrop</b> directory and
18       copies its standard input to the file.

23              The <a href="postconf.5.html"><b>main.cf</b></a> configuration file is in the named directory instead
24              of the default configuration directory. See also the MAIL_CONFIG

27       <b>-r</b>     Use a Postfix-internal protocol for  reading  the  message  from
28              standard input, and for reporting status information on standard
29              output. This is currently the only supported method.

31       <b>-v</b>     Enable verbose  logging  for  debugging  purposes.  Multiple  <b>-v</b>
32              options  make  the  software increasingly verbose. As of Postfix
33              2.3, this option is available for the super-user only.

36       The command is designed to run with set-group ID privileges, so that it
37       can write to the <b>maildrop</b> queue directory and so that it can connect to

41       Fatal errors: malformed input, I/O error, out of memory.  Problems  are
42       logged  to  <b>syslogd</b>(8) or <a href="postlogd.8.html"><b>postlogd</b>(8)</a> and to the standard error stream.
43       When the input is incomplete, or when the process receives a HUP,  INT,
44       QUIT or TERM signal, the queue file is deleted.
