library versioning: Activate versioning on 7 librariesAll 4.2 packages currently on the system will continue to work ona system after this commit. However, the next bulk run of packages willbuild using these symbol versions and will not work on systems olderthan this commit. Part of the joys of running on bleeding edge I think.The next bulk run won't be for a couple of weeks at least (I'm waitingon a disruptive and huge patch of perl and pgsql to settle down) so thereis no impending breakage expected.The newly mapped libraries are: z, ncurses, lzma, edit, archive, md, bz2 List of files: /dflybsd-src/lib/libz/Makefile

library versioning: Don't bump major versionEight libraries have unused yet valid symbol maps. The original plan wasto activate them together and bump all the major library versions at thesame time. This never happened because the libc symbol map isn't quiteright yet. However, it's not necessary to bump the version. If mapped,both the versioned and unversioned symbol will be available and willreference the same location, so no breakage will occur.Once confirmed, the next commit will remove the "RELEASE36" check. libz: Add symbol versions (not active)Every time symbol versioning is added to a system library, it willrequire a full buildworld for the next build. In addition, if the majorversion isn't bumped, it will break the binary packages that link to it.The working plan is to add versioning to libaries, but not hook it intothe build unless "RELEASE36" is defined. When all the libraries havebeen versioned, then these conditions will be removed so only one fullbuildworld will be required to minimize inconvenience to users.All versioned libraries will be bumped with the exception of libc as ithas already been bumped for branch 3.5, thus libc.so.7 is alreadyavailable. In other words, we bump to avoid package breakage and that'sno longer an issue for libc.After this commit, libz will build as before unless RELEASE36=yes isdefined in make.conf or passed to make during buildworld.
